Hello Crafty Friends,
Today is the 25th
of the month, which means it is time for our Christmas countdown. Can you believe there is only 1 month until Christmas? We have started our Christmas shopping (Yeah!), I have wrapped a few presents (but more to go), and I have some holiday cards already created thanks to this hop.
I remember when I joined this group many months ago to get ahead on my holiday cards. I am so glad I had the opportunity and hope that next year we continue the trend.
Here
are my Christmas cards...

Great cards...love the pink on the first! Lee-Ann :)
ReplyDeleteOur holiday tradition is the glass tree pickle. Santa hides the pickle on the tree while everyone is in bed. In the morning the kids have to find it...whoever does, gets the pickle present. It's supposed to slow the kids down to appreciate the tree before digging into their booty. Lee-Ann :)
Great Christmas cards!! LOVE the great designs!!
ReplyDeleteChristmas traditions....Besides having "Michael" our elf visit each year we give the kids an ornament specific to them and their "likes" for that year....we have been doing it since they were born and by the time they have their own family their trees will be filled with our family memories.
TFS and have a GREAT Sunday!!
BTW~ my hubby is not a teacher :)
Georgiana, your cards are lovely. I, of course, really like the first one in pink as it is my fave colour. Thanks for joining us on this hop this year and I do hope this tradition continues for the coming year. My fave family tradition was "Boxing Day" at my Mom and Dad's (the day after Christmas) when we had our family gathering when my son was growing up. Now the stores are open and too many of us work retail so its been cancelled for a few years and I do not even see all of my family for Christmas. Truthfully it makes me sad. Hugs!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Georgiana - love the non-traditional pink and the candy cane one is awesome. TFS and have a great day - was a fabulous hop.
