Feed the Birds

Good Morning,
Welcome back for another challenge at Made Especially for You.

This week's challenge...
Use Distressed Ink
I have to be honest. I only have one , yes only one, Tim Holtz distressed ink pad and I just bought it last week. I picked tea dye, but my best crafting buddy told me to get Walnut next. What other colors do you suggest?

Here is my Design Team project...
 I inked all the edges.
We R Memory Keepers paper ~ White Out collection

  1. you've made a super cute card! love it!! hugs, hl

  2. OOOOO! Go for Anitque Linen next!!! That was my first! I only have 5 and thats only because I score the Holiday 3 pack for 75% off! It was $3.00!!!

Your card is just AWESOME! I LOVE your coloring!!! And that background paper suites your image and colors SO WELL!!!

    Great Job!!!

    Crafty Hugs,

  3. Super Cute card. I suggest all of them. I love the whole distress ink collection, LOL.

  4. Lovely card. I started out with vintage photo, then added basic colors - a blue, a red, a green, and most recently, an orange. I think a grey or black might be next. I know I'll add in shades of each later but I want several color options now. I can't wait to get distress markers.

  5. Tea dye was my first pad too. My hubby bought be Walnut not long after that. Then I had antique linen and faded jeans. I have maybe 3-4 more than that. I just don't get into them like other people do. Great edge inking though! They are definitely good for that!

  6. Pretty card- I love distress inks- my favorite is vintage photo! :)Amy

  7. Love the card - I have quite a few of these inks and I love them all. Whichever colour you go for I'm sure you'll love it.

  8. Adorable card!! As for Distress Inks, I like Broken China (blue), Lipstick (Red), and Soot (black), are three of my fav's!! I have more but go to these three mostly.

  9. Beautiful!love the colors and frame.very cute colored image.

  10. beautiful card didn't realize how many distressed colors there were!

  11. Cute card Georgiana : ) I like the papers you chose. I use TH Distress Inks on almost every project I fave is Walnut Stain * Antique Linen. I buy the holiday or special colors when they sell them in packs of 3..cheaper that way too.
