How About a Z-Fold Today? Yes, You Can Make One Too!

Good morning everyone,
Welcome back and thank you for visiting again. If this is your first time here, I am glad you have found your way. I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for a full week. Although I am on summer vacation I will be working on a reading committee this week for a few hours then it is back to crafting time. Yeah!

Today happens to be another challenge at Paper Playtime. The challenge for this week is to create a Z-fold card. This was a challenge for me since I usually make the typical rectangle shape card, but I definitely stuck with it and figured out some easy cutting and layering techniques. I will have to make another Z-fold this week and post step-by-step directions for those interested.

I actually created this card for a student who gave me a picture frame on the last day of school. Since it was very unexpected, I am going to mail this card to him. I know he will love to get a surprise in the mailbox.
I used the Wild Card cartridge to cut out Thank You. All the edges of the papers were inked with a chocolate brown.

Be sure to visit Paper Playtime to enter your card. Then check out the rest of the Design Team's projects. Oh yeah, best of all...goodies are available to the winner!

Don't forget to come back tomorrow (Tuesday) for the Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge. I may even have another card before then! For some odd reason I am in the mood to create a Christmas card.

Stay Crafty,
Georgiana  :)

  9. Nice job Georgiana. I would love to try making a z-fold card, or an easel card, or any of those specialty types. I've only made the usual rectangle too!--Pat N.
