Pumpkin...Fruit or Vegetable?

Wacky Wednesday #12 - Fruit & Veggie Theme

I had to find out if a pumpkin is actually a fruit or vegetable because I remember a teacher I had many years ago explaining the difference between the two...seeds. Well... a pumpkin has seeds, so by definition it is actually a fruit. Interesting, huh? I actually confirmed that during my research.
  • The base card is white cardstock. Then it is layered with orange and purple cardstock. The decorative striped paper is by Cricut.
  • I used Mini Monsters to cut the pumpkins.
  • Pumpkin Harvest Cuttlebug folder was used to emboss the purple piece of paper and Distressed was used on the pumpkins.
  • Embellishments: ribbon and buttons
  • Happy Halloween sticker mounted on the inside
I made this pumpkin card also using many of the same pieces...Cricut paper, Mini Monsters, self-adhesive ribbon, and wiggly eyes.

I have 3 more sets ready to go. Once I finish them I will announce the "special cause" (the reason why I am making all these Halloween cards). I wanted to be sure I could actually make 30 cards in 10 days, but I feel much more confident that I can make it happen.

Enjoy your crafting time,
Georgiana  : )
