Have you ever watched an entire weekend of Burn Notice or Law and Order? What about Mythbusters or House? You just can't get enough and watch the same show all weekend even though you have seen all the episodes before.
Last night I wrote a list of 17 different challenges and I decided since the kids went away to Disney with the grandparent for the weekend, I was going to try to make as many as I could before they returned.
I was going to have a Challenge Marathon of my own.
This card was created for my husband's birthdy. Unfortunately no surprises for him. I used the Celebrations cartridge and it was the first time I used vellum (on the bottom half below the ribbon). What a neat paper!
I used Joys of the Season cartridge to cut the 3" Christmas tree and sentiment. The papers are from the Cricut Christmas Cheer pack. I added silver gems and white glitter to the base. I sure do like the effect of glitter on a card! This was my first time using it as pizzaz.
I used the Pagoda cartridge to cut the 3" doll on p. 27. I love the effect of the corner punch on the front of the card. LOVE was cut at 1 1/2" from Plantin Schoolbook.
The Native Americans were cut from the My World cartridge. The paper is from Cricut Doodlecharms pack. Harvest buttons and ribbon were included on the cover and inside. I still need to draw their faces, but will wait until morning when I am not so tired. : )
Wow! What a fun day! I sure hope that tomorrow I will be able to work on a few more projects. Enjoy the time you have to craft and be with your family.
Stay Creative,
Georgiana
