Hello Crafty Friends,
Happy Saturday!
Since my daughter and I have finished making holiday cards and tags for our Carson's Cards for Cancer fundraiser, I have been able to focus on other projects. I have been looking for challenges, but there are not to many right now since most design teams are on break until after the first of the year. I was fortunate to find a CAS (clean and simple) one that I liked. I am making a few more thank you cards for a teacher at school and I need to add some to my stash.
I used the following sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
I used the following sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
The big THANKS die is by My Favorite Things and was cut with my Cuttlebug. I added a black shadow to the pink letters to match the trim and card base. The woodgrain paper is by My Mind's Eye ~ 6" x 6" Wood stack.
Gorgeous!!! Love the black shadows! This sketch is perfect for highlighting that big sentiment of thanks! Thanks for joining us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
ReplyDeleteGood evening! !
ReplyDeleteIt is 9:30 PM on 30th Japan time now.
It is the custom of Japan's year end.
In the year end, we say “Yoi otoshi wo” to each other wishing for the coming
year to be pleasurable.
The New Year season is the most significant season for the Japanese.
All the Christmas décor is switched to the New Year’s in a blink.
Major New Year icons are the pine tree, bamboo, plums and so on. All of them are symbols of good fortune and longevity.
Pretty card! Love the woodgrain and colors

Love the distressed woodgrain background as it provides a super texture for the large, shadowed letters. It makes them stand out perfectly with the pink chevron pattern. Great card! Thanks for sharing with us at Atlantic Hearts :)
