Hello Crafty Friends,
Today is a Whimsical Designs on Wednesday!
I made a special treat for my design team project...Test Tube Treat Boxes! I have been wanting to make these since Halloween, but thought they would be too difficult or I would need a special cutting file. Well, neither of them were true! They actually are super easy. The hardest part is not eating all the candy treats while making them. :)
I found this pictorial at Splitcoast Stampers and it worked! I only needed my Scor Pal, heavy duty cardstock, and decorative papers.
They are very versatile so you make them for every holiday using any colors. I used the Spellbinders ~ Lacey Circles and Whimsical Designs "Be Mine" stamp for this first set.
This one is triple test tube holder. (There are directions for a double and quadruple test tube box also.) I used only one piece of paper to create the box. This stamp is from the same Whimsical Designs "With Love" set.
Other Materials:
pink and red card stock
Martha Stewart test tubes
candy
pink, white, and Valentine ribbons
Spellbinders ~ Lacey Circles and Scallops
red and pink ink
Don't forget to stop by Pumpkin Spice for this Valentine kit, which includes the "With Love" or visit Whimsical Stamps to view all the sets available.
Until next time,
