Hello Everyone,
It is getting late here, but I just finished a card using this week's Card Patterns sketch. I really do like following sketches because of the outcome. One sketch, BUT still so many options.
I have seen so many different flowers that I want to try, but I like the look of these dainty distressed flowers. I am going to start a list of projects/techniques I want to try this summer and those crinkle ribbon flowers seem to be popular so they are going on my list.
What are some techniques you want to try?
Materials:
My Mind's Eye paper ~ Six by Six pad
Kate's ABCs cartridge ~ Flower vase (p. 54) cut at 2 3/4"
From My Kitchen cartridge ~ Oval Shadow cut at 2 3/4" and 3"
Plantin Schoolbook ~ flowers (p. 76) cut at 1/2", 3/4", and 1"
mustard yellow card stock
gray brads
gems
Fiskars stamp
Versafine black ink
Other Challenges:
Enjoy the rest of your night.
Stay Creative,
Georgiana
Really pretty card, I'm a new follower!
ReplyDeleteLove your card, the colors are wonderful and I love how you made the 3 flowers. I haven't tried any fancy flowers yet, but I would to try the ones that you roll up and then spread the petals out. I like your idea of putting a list together of techniques you would like to try.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful evening.
